How to Log in to Your Uphold Account
- Visit the Login Page:Website: Go to Uphold Login on your web browser.
Mobile App: Open the Uphold app on your mobile device (available on both iOS and Android). - Enter Your Email Address and Password:Enter the email address associated with your Uphold account.
Input your password. Ensure your password is strong to enhance your account's security. - Complete Two-Factor Authentication (2FA):SMS: If 2FA is enabled, a one-time verification code will be sent to your phone via SMS.
Authenticator App: Alternatively, you can use an authenticator app (such as Google Authenticator or Authy) to retrieve the verification code.
Enter the code to proceed. - Access Your Account Dashboard:Once your login details are confirmed, you’ll be logged into your account and redirected to your dashboard, where you can manage your portfolio, make transactions, and explore various features.
Important Features & Security:
- Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): This adds an extra layer of security to your account. 2FA ensures that only you can access your account by requiring a verification code in addition to your password.
- Security Alerts: Uphold tracks login attempts and notifies you if there’s any unusual activity or if an unfamiliar device tries to log into your account.
Troubleshooting:
- Forgot Password?: Click on “Forgot Password?” on the login page to reset your password. Follow the instructions sent to your registered email.
- Account Locked?: If your account is temporarily locked due to multiple failed login attempts, follow the on-screen prompts to unlock it or reach out to Uphold support for help.
- Issues with 2FA Code?: Ensure your phone has good signal or that your authenticator app is set up correctly. If you still don’t receive the code, try using backup codes or contact Uphold support.
